A representative aspirant of District Number Fourteen has reported a shooting incident in the township of Johnsonville, Montserrado County.

Mr. James Kellen told Star Radio the gunmen targeted the home of one Walker, a former Kru Governor in Johnsonville.

He said the attackers broke into the home of Mr. Walker but later fled as residents began approaching the area.

Mr. Kellen said residents of Johnsonville were living in constant fear due to the absence of police patrols in the area.

He said criminals including armed robbers take advantage of the remoteness of Johnsonville to terrorize the peaceful residents.

The District Fourteen representative aspirant appealed to Government to establish a police depot in the area or the citizens would be compelled to demand security.
