The Standard Bearer of the Liberia Empowerment Party or LEP Rev. Hananiah Zoe has out rightly promised to implement all recommendations advanced by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC), if elected to the Presidency.
Rev. Zoe said it is unforgiving and beyond the thinking of ordinary man that a country, that has lost over 250,000 of her citizens in senseless and baseless Liberia needs total reconciliation, but  the process of reconciliation should start with those, who took responsibility in discharging violence, while those, who committed heinous harms should bear greater responsibility or else, Liberians will not experience peace and total healing.

He said under his leadership, dual citizenship will be encouraged and strongly supported, noting after 15 years of unrest, many Liberians flew the country in search of peace and freedom.

“We should be able to accommodate them back into the Liberian Society and not throw them out, because they left in search of peace and freedom, coming back to their motherland should be welcomed by all Liberians. They are not outsiders; they too are part of us”, the LEP standard bearer said.

He said Liberia is the only country in the world that does not support dual citizenship; “Liberians can be naturalized and become Europeans, Americans, or other nationalities, but our Constitution deny others to become part of us; our constitution is totally racist”, he lamented.
