STOP Police Brutality in Liberia today!!!!

Dear Friends:
Government police in Liberia has made the entire country a dangerous place to live. Students are brutalized, young women are raped, citizens are shot at and killed, and Liberian newspapers have reported countless other assaults and robberies. We have had a massive amount of feedback from people in Liberia who say they are too scared to walk around after dark.

In Liberia, instead of running to the police for protection, citizens run from police for fear of their lives. Worst of all, individuals who committed heinous crimes against civilians during the Liberian civil war are the police overseeing the security affairs of the very people they victimized. But the Liberian government says the police is doing just fine, the people should not be worried. The Liberian government has refused to address the issue of police brutality across the country.

We at Operation We Care for Liberia want to make Liberia safe. That is why we need your help to support our advocacy against police inhumane treatment of civilians in Liberia. We do not want money from you. All we want you to do is, write  the justice Minister of Liberia and tell her how you feel about the Liberian national police’s actions on innocent civilians.  Tell the Minister that you want the police to stop terrorizing the people of Liberia.

We don’t want anyone else to be raped, brutalized, killed or robbed before action is taken to protect civilians.
Contact the Justice ministry using the below address:

The need for post-war justice is a step toward lasting peace, stability and prosperity for Liberia, West Africa. Without justice, peace shall remain elusive and investment in Liberia will not produce the intended results. Bernard Gbayee Goah
